Attention Tranquil Acres residents: TAWS currently accepts checks, money orders or cash. There is also a payment drop box on the south side of the meeting room. Check with your bank or credit union - many offer "Bill Pay" at no additional charge to their customers. Effective October 2024 TAWS is also accepting credit card and ACH payments. In order to have the option to pay using this method TAWS must have your email address. Invoices will be sent via email and the payment option will be attached to the invoice. The associated fees for this payment method are the responsibility of the water customer. TAWS is always striving to improve communication with our water customers. Any customers who have an email registered with TAWS will no longer receive a paper statement in the mail. Statements and invoices will be emailed only.
The next Tranquil Acres Water monthly board meeting will be Monday, January 20, 2025 at 6pm. Members can attend via Zoom by using the following log in information: https://us06web.zoom.us/j/6885495508?omn=89371678283 All water customers are encouraged to attend. This is a great opportunity to learn more about your water system and meet your board of directors.
ATTENTION: Volunteers needed for leak patrol. Leak patrol occurs on scheduled nights between the hours of 12am and 4am and pays $30.00 per hour. These patrols are coordinated by our ORC Steven Denton. If interested please call 719-216-4159 and leave your contact information.
All Tranquil Acres water users please always remember to check for leaks. And as always - please conserve water. Colorado's severe drought effects all of us.
TAWS is a community water system which relies on volunteer members to run the system. Call 719-216-4159, or email tawswater@yahoo.com, if you might be able to help. The future of the system depends upon each member pitching in and doing their share to make it work. **Additionally, if you are mechanically skilled, if you can run a backhoe , are a licensed electrician or have experience with water grants or the drilling of wells please contact us at 719-216-4159 or tawswater@yahoo.com
Regular meetings of the Board of Directors are scheduled for the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 6pm via Zoom and at the tower meeting room. These meetings are open to the public, and all members are invited to attend and provide input on your community water system.

PARKING POLICY FOR TRANQUIL ACRES
*VEHICLES SHOULD NOT BE PARKED ON ANY STREETS IN TRANQUIL ACRES FOR ANY REASON
*TELLER COUNTY PLOWS AND GRADES ALL SIDE ROADS OF TRANQUIL ACRES AS A COURTESY. THEY HAVE TOLD TAWS THAT IF THERE ARE VEHICLES PARKED IN THE STREET INTERFERING WITH SNOW REMOVAL OR GRADING, THEY HAVE THE OPTION OF NOT PLOWING OR GRADING.
*THE SIDE STREETS NOT BEING PLOWED IN THE WINTER COULD POSE A LOT OF PROBLEMS FOR RESIDENTS IF THEY ARE UNABLE TO GET OUT AND COULD BE CATASTROPHIC IF EMERGENCY VEHICLES ARE UNABLE TO GET IN.
*PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT TAWS HAS THE AUTHORITY TO HAVE VEHICLES PARKED ON ANY TAWS STREET TOWED AT THE OWNER EXPENSE, AND WILL DO SO IF NECESSARY. WE HAVE AN AGREEMENT WITH FRED’S TOWING SERVICE, AND ANY HOMEOWNER CAN CALL TO HAVE A VEHICLE TOWED IF IT IS PARKED ON THE STREET.
*THIS POLICY ALSO PERTAINS TO THE SUMMER MONTHS. WE WILL NOT GET OUR STREETS GRADED IF THE GRADER IS UNABLE TO SAFELY DO THEIR JOB. THIS IS ESPECIALLY CRITICAL AFTER HEAVY RAIN.
*WE APPRECIATE YOUR COOPERATION WITH THIS SO WE CAN CONTINUE TO HAVE THE PRIVILEGE OF HAVING OUR ROADS PLOWED AND GRADED.
